No two women are alike, so at Galisteo Advanced Gynecology, it is our mission to provide knowledge, choices and alternatives, and provide viable solutions for each of their specific circumstances. We treat each woman with respect and compassion, and since every woman is different and has individual needs, we create a unique plan to meet her health and/or reconstructive goals.
Meet Our Staff
Celeste Suminsby, WHNP Nurse Practitioner
After achieving a BS in Nursing from Trenton State College, Celeste went on to earn an MS in Human Resources & Development from Chapman University. She then received USAF certification as a Nurse Practitioner and national level certification through NCC. She has practiced as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner for 25 years and is an Air Force Veteran with 28 years of experience treating women throughout the Lifecycle all over the world including assignments in nine different states and three different countries. Her philosophy is to help women make the best health care decisions possible- through up to date patient education and positive example.
Eileen Kerem, CNP Nurse Practitioner
Eileen has been a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner for 22 years, after graduating from Indiana University in 1995. Prior to obtaining her Advanced Practice degree, she worked as a Labor and Delivery Nurse in Highland Park, Illinois. She loved taking care of women in labor, helping them and their partners bring new life into the world. She feels privileged to be involved in providing women the care they need and deserve throughout their lifespans, being a strong advocate for them all.
Lola Pargas, MA Medical Assistant
Lola has been with Dr. Rodriguez for 20 years. Dr. Rodriguez feels she would not be able to do her job without Lola. She is her right hand. Lola is originally from Santa Fe, New Mexico. She speaks Spanish, which is very helpful to our Spanish speaking patients. She is very dedicated to her patients and always promotes our practice to treat our patients with utmost respect and caring. She is also a devoted mother to her daughters and a devoted grandmother to her two grandsons.
Samantha Whittington, MA Medical Assistant
After graduating from high school in Pecos, New Mexico in 2000, Samantha served as an Emergency Medical Technician at Pecos Valley Medical Center for ten years. She then served as an Emergency Room Paramedic at St. Vincent Hospital and then as a clinic lead. She now supports our Nurse Practitioners as a Medical Assistant for Galisteo Advanced Gynecology. Samantha is also a great cook.
Stephanie Schulz Receptionist
After graduating from Santa Fe High School in 2003, Stephanie worked as a Certified Nurse Assistant for ten years and then returned for additional education to become a Medical Assistant. She worked in Podiatry for four years before coming to Galisteo Advanced Gynecology.
Aurelia Sedillo – Insurance Coordination
Aurelia worked for La Familia Medical Center for 13 years as their Dental Office Manager before coming to Galisteo Advanced Gynecology. Now she does all authorizations for the office, along with some billing.
Dennis Carter – Practice Consultant
With 42 years of multi-industry experience, Dennis has fifteen years of medical administration experience and largely handles the practice’s administrative, facilities and human resources issues.
Jordan Minkin – Accounting
Originally from St. Louis, Jordan now handles the accounting, payroll and taxes for the practice. Jordan has been with Dr. Rodriguez for many years. He worked initially as her Practice Managerfor six years. Jordan is an avid outdoorsman.
